This daily feature provides a photograph, with a short caption, that I have captured from inside my perch atop the corner of 14th and Irving Streets, N.W. [map] in the Columbia Heights neighborhood.  “My perch” is inside my 2nd floor apartment unit. Occasionally, I’ll also provide a photo from an even higher perch:  the roof of my apartment building, Highland Park.

I have lived in Highland Park for over a year now and the streetviews never fail to provide a wonderfully entertaining and interesting perspective.  Some of the photos have been taken over the course of the past year. Others are taken and posted the same day.  All should provide you with a snapshot of the street life below.  Upon seeing the images, feel free to comment.  Perhaps you can come up with a more creative caption. Maybe you want to criticize the image selection or let me know that you enjoy a particular shot. In any case, let your thoughts on the photos be heard!

And if you visit 14th and Irving Streets, watch out! You never know, someday you may be among the folks “Caught on the Corner!
